Monica E. Geller-Bing

Monica is the somewhat mistreated daughter of Jack and Judy Geller, who always favoured Ross, Monica's brother, above her. She moved into her own apartment when she was in her early twenties, and her first room-mate was Phoebe Buffay. However, Phoebe moved out when Monica's obsessive-compulsive nature got too much for her to bear, and Monica lived without a room-mate until Rachel Green, her high school best friend, turned up after running out on a wedding. She and Rach lived together for just over five years.
Monica dated a string of disastrous guys. She first dated Kip, Chandler Bing's old room-mate, who lived across the hall from her, and was once one of their gang, before Rachel joined. However, they split up, and Kip married someone else. When Chandler's new room-mate Joey moved in, Monica had a crush on him - a crush that ended as soon as she invited him in for lemonade and he stripped. She then dated Young Ethan, and slept with him before he revealed that he was only sixteen. After dating Ethan, she dated Billionaire Pete Becker, and Richard Burke, her father's best friend, who was twenty-one years older than her. She finally ended up with her soulmate, Chandler, at Ross's wedding to Emily Waltham in London.
Monica has always wanted to be married and have children. At one point, she was so desperate to be a mother that she considered visiting a sperm bank. However, Joey talked her out of it. Her "baby fever" was the cause of one of her biggest arguements with Chandler.
She and Chandler are now married, and live in her apartment. Now all we have to do is wait for a Bing baby...

Courteney Cox Arquette
Courteney was born on June 15, 1964, in Birmingham, Alabama. She was the youngest of four children (two sisters, Virginia and Dottie, and one brother, Richard). When she was ten, her parents divorced, and both remarried. She soon had nine step- and half- brothers and sisters. Courteney intended to become an architect, but her stepfather's brother, Miles Copeland, encouraged her to go to NYC, and model. She soon got a contract, and her face appeared on magazines such as Tiger Beat and Young Miss. After completing her freshman year, she returned to NYC, and starred in commercials - most notably, that famous Tampax one, where she became the first person to say 'period' on television, without meaning the little dot at the end of a sentence. She had numerous walk-on parts in shows, and, in '84, was selected to do "that dance" with Bruce Springsteen, which made her name. She starred in many more small TV shows, until she got her break in Family Ties, as Michael J. Fox's girlfriend, Lauren. After that, the offers kept coming, and she starred in Ace Ventura, the film that really catapulted her to fame. She then got her audition for Rachel in Friends, but managed to persuade the directors to let her audition for Monica instead. And the rest is history...
Courteney married David Arquette, her co-star in the Scream Trilogy, in '99. The Scream Trilogy are probably her most successful films to date. Courteney, who has been quoted as saying "I *am* Monica Geller", enjoyed doing Scream because Gale Weathers was so unlike Monica.
When the other cast members met Courteney, they felt intimidated by her, as she was the most famous of all of them. However, she was the one who suggested they become a team, on screen and off.
